Vacation All I ever wanted...

This week we've been talking about going on vacations. Yesterday the students brought in pictures from their vacations and glued them in their journals. We also made postcards and marked where we've been on a map of the U.S.

Today we had a souvenir show and tell in our circle. A and J brought stuffed animals from their trip to the zoo, other students brought shark teeth, chocolate from London, and a shell necklace from Myrtle Beach. Miss Nicole brought a rock from the beaches of Normandy in France. We also talked about transportation we use to get to our vacation destination. The students drew a picture of the transportation they used in their journal. We couldn't forget that feet take us places too, so to celebrate our feet we used them to paint!! The paint felt really cool and slimy on our feet.
