We just want to let everyone know the excellent strategy we have been using in the preschool to improve a tattling habit that was getting a bit out of control. Before a student tells the teacher about something, we ask them to think these three questions to themselves:
1. Is this important? 2. Does this concern someone's safety? 3. Do I need help with something I can't do on my own? If the information falls under one of these categories, it is important to tell the teacher. If not, it's a tattle! The students have really been adhering to these guidelines and we are seeing a HUGE improvement!
