Dinosaur Bones

Dinosaurs will be our focus this week. Today we learned about dinosaur fossils. The students pretended that they were paleontologists and made their own dinosaur skeletons using pasta "fossils." They also used toothpicks to carefully dig out chocolate chip fossils from their cookies. During math we used unifex cubes to measure dinosaur bones. We read two books today, Bones, Bones, Dinosaur Bones by Byron Barton and Dinosaur Bones.
