All about garbage!

Things got pretty trashy in the Kozy Heart preschool classroom today! ;) We read the story Trashy Town by Steven Kroll and talked about the proper places for garbage. We decided that littering is bucket dipping... so we went on a litter walk and collected some trash around the Kozy Heart neighborhood. Unfortunately there was quite a bit to pick up. 

Our craft today was "junkmail jewels," decorations made from ripped up paper and paste, pressed into cookie cutters. We are still waiting for them to dry, but they look awesome!

We also learned the fun song "Pick it up", to help us remember to pick up litter.
