What better way to escape winter than a day at the beach? Today we read Corduroy Goes to the Beach by B. G. Hennessy, and imagined that we were laying out on the beach, soaking up the rays. In art, we made sand jars.
Afterwards, we participated in some beach-themed sensory stations: a sand station, a water station, and a sea-foam station.
In the afternoon, we continued our beach theme with an under the sea puzzle, math worksheet, and writing practice.
